It started when four friends got together after being scammed and decided to create an honest business of their own.

WhyMobile believes in creating value through transparent and competitive pricing. Our margins typically average 1-3%.
In order to keep our prices low, early versions of our website made payment transaction fees (e.g. PayPal, NETS, Credit Card) transparent and transferred these costs to our customers. Instead of padding prices to absorb varying fees (up to 5%), customers can choose to pay using cheaper methods, e.g. Cash or NETS.
Since 2018, we have encouraged the use of PayNow in line with Singapore's Smart Nation initiative which incurs no transaction fees.
